Wright on Jesus in Politics

In response to a question about what Jesus’ political platform would be were he to run to office, Jedi Master NT Wright says this.

Jesus was about a different sort-of kingdom, he says, and – rather than participating in the political system – he would be more concerned with exposing and unmasking its injustices and corruption.

Thus, says Wright…

…[t]he real question is, what sort of a cross would today’s system be intent on using to kill him?

Exactly.
